EQM Ltd is a management consultancy business that specializes in helping companies implement and operate management systems. These are either Quality Management Systems (BS EN ISO 9001:2000), Environmental Management Systems (EN ISO 14001:1996), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHS&S 18001:2007) or Information Management Systems (ISO
27001:2005 [replaces BS 7799-1:2000]).
We are working more and more with companies who have developed more than one management system (i.e. Quality and Health and Safety), who realize that there are several areas of overlap, duplication and wasted effort in running two management systems. We simply integrate both management systems (or in some cases three or four management systems) into a single documented or paperless system that meets all of the requirements of the various standards and are effective in assisting the senior management to run the company for their own goals and in their own way.
The ultimate goal of implementing a management system is to define and then move towards an acceptable level of Corporate Social Responsibility. Effective management doesn't happen by accident.
